Hey there, I'm Pete!
Graphic design and illustration has always been one of my passions, perhaps only rivaled by my love of boats. It took some time to blend these two interests seamlessly, but after years of honing my artistic skills alongside my seamanship, I've found the perfect combination. You may not think it at first glance, but properly maintained boats require a significant amount of graphic design work, and while profile illustrations for shirts and merchandise may be the most obvious and exciting service I offer, a closer look reveals a plethora of other applications in both maritime and beyond.
With over 22 years of maritime experience, I've climbed the ranks from dock attendant to first mate, finally landing the role of Captain on a private Superyacht. Having traversed over 100,000 Nautical Miles, I'm deeply immersed in the maritime world, and this firsthand knowledge informs the quality of my design work.
Oftentimes, supplied reference material falls short, poor quality photos, inaccurate or incomplete general arrangement plans. But fear not, I excel at creating detailed and precise illustrations because I understand what I am looking at and can fill in the gaps with ease.
Throughout my career, I've crafted over 400 vector profile illustrations, many of which have been featured in my recurring monthly "in this issue" infographic for BOAT International Magazine. While there may be other artists out there creating vector artwork, none have the same wealth of maritime experience, expertise, and proven results I bring to the table.
